About Mattison ContractingMattison Contracting, a New Hampshire based general contracting company, is owned and operated by Gregory and Lori Mattison.Mattison Contracting in the Southern New Hampshire region continues a strong family tradition which Greg's father Charles Mattison began in 1961. The original business was located in Albany, New York. Greg grew up remodeling upstate New York historic residental homes where he learned the custom remodeling and cabinetry trade from his father. Upon completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Clarkson University, Greg began his commerical construction management training in the early 1990s. During the past 15 years he has worked as an Environmental Engineer and Construction Manager covering the East Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. Mattison contracting prides itself on its ability to combine traditional historic construction methods with the most state-of-the-art estimating and construction management tools. By combining generations of craftmanship with quality project management, Mattison Contracting is pleased to be able to provide service to both the residential and commercial construction markets. Greg strongly believes that each of their project's successes can be attributed to the utilization of local subcontractors. Mattison Contracting's strong committment to utilizing localized subcontractor bases has allowed for projects to have successful timelines.
